About This Directory: It's strictly alphabetical within the two sections: 'Pay Hosts' and 'Free Hosts'. Free Hosts offering less than 10mg storage are not listed.
Sites offering adult content need a host (Pay or Free) that specializes in adult hosting. Apart from the negative stigma adult hosting may have, there are very real reasons why average, everyday hosts don’t want adult sites. Adult (XXX content) sites, unless handled carefully, can cause trouble for other sites around them. They are usually high-bandwidth users that offer much content. Adult traffic is usually unstable, susceptible to large, system-taxing spikes. Unless a host is ready for such events, an adult site can drain resources from a host’s other customers. All hosting sites listed at the Gay Empire are either designed to service adult sites or willingly accept adult sites.

If you're not familiar with Free Hosts for adult accounts please understand that nothing is really 'free'. These hosts always have a way for making income off providing their hosting service. Usually, you will find they require you to let them place banner or text advertisments at the top and/or bottom of each of your sites pages. There are exceptions!! Some free hosts do not intrude onto your pages but instead use every time a surfer makes a url mistake to present a full page ad instead of the usual error message. Others make random selection of surfers trying to enter your site and present their ad(s) as gateways to your site. Be sure you know what you're buying with your 'free' money.
WARNING: Free Hosts that take over your surfer's browser by replacing the home page, present multiple and/or unclosable pop up windows or otherwise harrass your surfers are listed in red.
